Department´s Characteristics:

The Department provides teaching activities focused on Private Law Subjects in accredited study programs, Security Law Protection of Persons and Property and Security Law Services in Public Administration within all three levels of higher education in the study field of Security Science. It is a triad of branches of Private Law hierarchically arranged quantitatively in the order of Civil Law, Labor Law and Commercial Law. Graduates acquire the required knowledge, skills and competencies by studying system parts, i.e. areas of particular branches of law. In Civil Law, in addition to the general part, also Family Law, Rights in rem, Inheritance Law, Contract Law and Intellectual Property Law. The area of Civil Law is implemented in a parity of material and procedural aspects by teaching dispute and non-dispute proceedings within the framework of Civil Procedural Law. The focus of teaching Labor Law lies in the area of labor relations, civil service, especially the employment of a member of the Police Force and Social Security Law. The area of Commercial Law emphasizes partial problems of forms of business, business entities and business-obligation relations. In English, the Department provides teaching of the subjects of Company Law and International and European Labor Law.
