Since 2010, on a regular basis, the Department of Criminal Law has organized a conference on the Current Issues of Criminal Law in Theory and Practice.
The aim of the conference is to gain knowledge of criminal law as well as criminal procedure law, but also to address issues related to criminal law. The conference also includes the exchange of knowledge from scientific research in areas related to the theory of criminal law, and attention is also paid to certain problems with application of the law in practice.
The conference is held at the premises of the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava.
The outcome of the conference is a peer-reviewed proceedings, an electronic version of which is available on the Academy website.
