The Criminal Law Department provides training for the police in the field of criminal substantive law and criminal procedure law.
At the end of the study, the student should be able to understand the criminal law theory, criminal liability, types of criminal offences, punishments and protective measures, measures for juveniles and the Special Part of the Criminal Code. They should also be able to understand the principles, structure, forms and position of the subjects of the criminal procedure, evidence procedure, criminal process, special proceedings, international cooperation in criminal matters and criminal proceedings against legal entities.
